Born in Venezuela and currently living in France where he works as Visual Effects Supervisor on multiple international projects. His career has taken him around the world working in films such as Avatar, The Lovely Bones, The Day The Earth Stood Still, 10000 BC, Harry Potter and The Order of The Phoenix, Horton Hears a Who and Ice Age: The Meltdown amongst others.

For the last 8 years Luis has had the opportunity to work in studios like Industrial Light & Magic, Weta Digital, The Moving Picture Company, Blue Sky Studios, Rising Sun Pictures, Cinesite and now Framestore CFC. At the same time he has taken part in numerous conferences and classes as a speaker/instructor. His main area of expertise lies in dynamics and particle effects, natural phenomena, scripting and integration of visual effects elements into live action plates.
